The Cook Islands Customs Service has a vacancy for a Customs Officer - Intelligence.

Customs officers have a key role protecting and enhancing the interest of the Cook Islands by managing security and community risks that come with the flow of people, goods and craft into the Cook Islands.

The successful applicant will have high levels of integrity, honesty and discretion. There are a range of technical skills aligned with this position including efficient collection, analysis and dissemination of confidential information.

To be considered for this role you must:

• Be a Cook Islander or a Cook Islands Permanent Resident
• Have a Cook Islands driver’s license
• Meet the description and technical requirements for the role
• Have excellent communications skills both written and verbal
• Computer literate

Successful applicants will be required to pass a current security check.
