2021 Training Opportunities with the International Seabed Authority

Please see below link to the following training opportunities now available on the International Seabed Authority’s website:

Global Sea Mineral Resources NV (GSR) in accordance with its exploration contract for polymetallic nodules with the International Seabed Authority is offering three (3) opportunities for candidates from developing States as part of its training programme.


The three training programmes are as follows:

One fellowship (Master’s degree Ocean & Lakes)

One fellowship (Master’s Emerald Programme, Faculty of Liege Belgium)

One professional training (Antwerp Port Training Center)

DEADLINE 19 FEBRUARY 2021


Tonga Offshore Mining Ltd (TOML) in accordance with its exploration contract for polymetallic nodules with the International Seabed Authority is offering two (2) geological/environmental at-sea on-board placements to candidates with a background and interest in geology, marine science, marine biology, and benthic ecology.
