Name: Matthew Rima
Bio: I have been working at NES for almost 10 years now and was previously part of the Education and Awareness Division. However, I have recently moved into the role of Senior Environment Officer as part of the Advisory and Compliance Division. More of the work we do in the Advisory and Compliance Division is to ensure many of our clients follow the guidelines directed by our office and to monitor and control the growth of work that could pose a threat to the environment. I have learnt many things during my time at NES but what stands out the most is that NES is so branched out, there are so many areas of this office that certainly widens your scope of interest. It makes you realize that there are many different areas of concern that we need to ensure are looked after. How can I be an environment champion? Well, I enjoy informing and teaching the younger minds of tomorrow about the pros and cons that our environment faces today.
