1 December 21

The International AirportArrivals area will once again be a hive of activity with the expected arrival of 190 passengers on Thursday 2nd December 2021.
As with previously managed returns, the passengers will have provided negative Covid-19 tests taken 72 hours prior to their departure from Auckland and completed their TMO online Health Declarations.
Effective Border control management and facilitation of passengers with Air NZ has led to a seamless arrival process at the International terminal. “We have done this a number of different ways,” said Tereroa PumatiSenior Immigration Officer “so we can adapt and change the process to accommodate increases in passenger numbers and still comply with our Covid-19 restrictions”.
MFAI has been managing communications with passengers to ensure correct information is provided to assist Te Marae Ora and the MFEM team with MIQ requirements.
6 passengers were offloaded on the previous flight due to not receiving their negative Covid-19 test results on time and will try again for this flight. “We want all passengers to meet the entry requirements so they can be reunited with their families for this Festive season”, said Immigration Officer, Phillip Metuariki.
All passengers are reminded to send test results (either your text message or email confirmation to tmo.exemptions@cookislands.gov.ck) as soon as they receive it.
