1. Nauru Ocean Resources Inc (NORI) in accordance with its exploration contract for polymetallic nodules with the International Seabed Authority is offering:
a. Four (4) environmental at-sea on-board placements to candidates with a background and interest in marine science, oceanography (chemical, biological, microbial), marine biology, benthic ecology, molecular ecology, and biogeochemistry. Deadline 14 February 2020.
b. Two (2) engineering internship opportunities to candidates in a second or third year engineering programme at an accredited educational institution. Deadline 28 February 2020.

2. Interoceanmetal Joint Organization (IOM) is offering two (2) opportunities in September- October 2020. Candidates will receive a comprehensive six (6) weeks multidisciplinary training in the field of polymetallic nodules project management (including legal framework, exploration activities, environmental research, economic cycle and metallurgical processing). Deadline 31 January 2020.
