The Cook Islands Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the following position within our Foreign Service team:

• Foreign Service Officer – International and Trade Affairs Division

The purpose of these roles is to assist in advising Government, the public service and other stakeholders on foreign affairs. As a member of the Foreign Service team, you will assist in formulating recommendations to protect and promote the Cook Islands’ interests in its dealings with regional and international partners and provide timely, high-quality policy advice to Government.

Key responsibilities are relationship management and coordination, representation and negotiation, and the effective facilitation and implementation of the Divisional work programme.
