The primary purpose of the Regenerative Tourism Coordinator role is to encourage regenerative tourism practices by ensuring both visitors and tourism industry members have the ability to positively influence the social, cultural, environmental and economic wellbeing of the Cook Islands people and place.
Priority is given to the successful operationalization of regenerative tourism focus areas, programmes and projects, to specifically affect progress towards the Cook Islands Tourism Development Strategy (CITDS).
