They will produce briefing documentation, including formal messages, briefs, submissions, cabinet papers and speech notes. The Pacific and Regional Division Director is responsible for developing and delivering robust policy advice and leading complex multi sector considerations related to the Cook Islands engagement in Pacific regional fora, including as relate to key regional organisations such as the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat, the Pacific Community and the Forum Fisheries Agency.
